4sc1 Class motto..

Few students came out with a class motto one day when the class its really boring... When we're talking about it, few teachers pass by our class and tat actually gave us some inspiration. In short, our class motto = MAA To be exact, there's plenty of hidden meaning in this motto but we manage to summarize them into a very easy understanding meaning.

Same Type
Same Hobbies
Same Sweet Odour
Same Attitude
We share our motto not just to all our fellow classmates but to some other class and they seem's to agree to it.. the deep meaning about the motto should'nt be reveal publicly. ^^ I hope tat fellow 4sc1 students can remember our motto and make 'full' use of it.

Harry Potter by 4sc1

For SSg's IU Day, there was a talent time. There were auditions n all..

We didn't bother to join it at first. Didn't even give it a thought. But one day, when X was doing duty, Amanda persuaded X to find a group of ppl to do a play regarding Harry Potter. There was not much time left actually, but it seemed like fun >.<

So, X told Y about it and they came out wif a script. It was completed within one day and practice started the next day.

The casts and crew for this play are:

Narrator - Lydia Mary Kiu
Harry Potter - Chai Hui Jian
Prof. Snape - Edward Cheu
Voldemort - Lim Chia Hoong
Dumbledore - Chai Shang Ging
Voldemort's wife - Sonia Sin
Hermione - Yap Yee Jean
Ron - Ho Su Wei
Unknown student 1 - Tan Mei Ni
Unknown student 2 -Chai Shang Ging

We managed to get through auditions and we were the second to perform on IU Night.

For the video part, we LAUGHED SO MUCH while acting that we had to retake n retake n retake. Pity Hui Jian who was wearing the black plastic bag (cloak) in the video. When we finished acting, he was sweating so much that the plastic bag was sticking to his skin.

And if u noticed, Chia Hoong, Sonia and Shang Ging were smiling on and off throughout the whole video. We just couldn't contain our laughter.

Although we did not win, we had LOTS of fun taking part and preparing for this talent time. We played a lot during practice which made it very enjoyable. The memories while practising for this play will always be in our minds.

Big Ben

Being in Interact club, X, Y and Z were in charge of making a Big Ben replica. LOTS of time were spent trying to construct such a complicating thing AND to make things worse, we only had 2 weeks. However, thank god it came out quite successfully (i personally think so).

We had to work with whatever we had to try to save cost. It was very troublesome to get the items needed to make this Big Ben. First, we got the styrofoam from the remnants of the King and I play. It was not easy at all... we had to run here n there to get permission JUST to get the styrofoam >.>

After we got the materials for the core of our Big ben, we started working....and working...and working. Then, it was painting time! in order to save cost... we used UNDERCOAT and peach paint in order to get the colour we want.. THANK GOD undercoat can be mixed wif paint.

We would like to thank Princess for helping us make 2 windows for our Big Ben. It was so perfect that the other windows we made looked like shit compared to it. Also, thank you Nicholas who helped us make more windows.

Finally, our Big Ben was completed just in time for display. It was our pride. Luckily, we managed to take a few shots wif it before it was 'kept' away.

Wanna noe wat happened to it? Well, if u go to the art room on the second floor, you will be able to see wat's left of our Big Ben.. Not much left....and to break our hearts...the students CUT up our Big Ben to use the styrofoam >.>

Boredom leads to lots of stupid stuff

MERDEKA!

One of our board in 4sc1

Malaysia's 50th birthday was celebrated in Sekolah Sri Garden on the 29th of August. The competitions that were held are:

1) Pertandingan Menyanyi Lagu Patriotik
2) Pertandingan Menghias Kelas
3) Pertandingan Melukis Poster
4) Pertandingan Menulis Sajak
5) Best dressed

Out of the 5 competitions which I know of, 4sc1 managed to get a prize in 4 out of 5 competitions. Which makes us feel very proud @.@

However, the prizes for the singing competition and class decoration were...well, let's just put it as not up to our expectations..

What made Sonia, Lydia and another person known as Princess so proud was that they managed to complete the VERY torturous '50' made out of paper cups. If u pass by 4sc1, the very first and beautiful thing u'd see is the number '50'. The picture will come later when Y uploads it.
Stil on the floor..juz finish painting
ITs nailed on...

In conclusion, this Merdeka celebration was wonderful as we managed to skip a lot of lessons. However, there is a price we have to pay. We have to work much harder now as we're much slower in our lessons compared to other classes. T.T

PHYSICS ROCK

in physics chapter 3:

BERNOULLI'S PRINCIPLE

definition: Bernoulli's principle states that in a steady flow of a fluid, the pressure of the fluid decreases when the velocity of the fluid increases-and the converse is also true (Success Physics Reference book)

In short, when u blow air through the funnel, the ping pong ball does not drop when released, but is held up beneath the funnel. This is because the air flows around the ping pong ball at high speed and creates a region of low pressure. The air beneath the ball is a atmospheric pressure and a net upward force holds up the ping pong ball. Magical isn't it.

So, here's wat happened in form 4sc1:

Weird examples came out during our class discussion. One student said, "so that means if i pee on a field VERY quickly, would that mean that the grass will sucked up too?". Then Mr. Khoo (Physic Teacher) was like, "don't be ridiculous lar".

Then, while one of us was walking up the stairs.... So happen one big sized guy was infront of us (his ass is level wif my face). And so, a stupid idea came up. Applying this principle, if he farts at that moment, the air coming out through the narrow passageway of his asshole would create a low pressure around his ass and the atmospheric pressure will force my face to be sucked in between his ass.

Here's wat it would look like :
